ARTICLE 1. PRESENTATION

Kumulus Active World 2012 S.L. and the Municipal Institute of sports of the Town Hall of Palma (IME) organized the TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca to be held Sunday, October 19th, 2025 at 8:00. All persons over the age of 18 (except in the 9K distance in which the minimum age is 16 years old) who wish to participate can do so without distinction.
 
ARTICLE 2. HOMOLOGATION

Two-lap course measured 42.195 meter. This race takes place under the rules of racing in road of the IAAF and the FAIB and is integrated in the AIMS calendar. The route will be marked and signposted every mile vertically.
 

ARTICLE 3. COURSE*

START 10K: 8:00h

From Autovia de Levante on the seaside, in front of the Cathedral, towards the Airport, until making a left turn to go up Avda Gabriel Alomar i Villalonga on the left side, until reaching C/Escola Graduada to turn left onto C/Mateu Enric Lladó until Porta des Camp. Then, through C/Bastió Princep and Passeig Murada, turn right onto C/Portella and C/Pont i Vic until making a right turn onto C/Sol and a left turn onto C/Sant Francesc, reaching Plaça Santa Eulalia, where you turn onto C/Morell, C/Sant Pere Nolasc, and turn right onto C/Palau, and again onto C/Mirador to head towards Palau Reial until Plaça Cort. Turn right onto C/Cadena to enter Plaça Santa Eulalia, then turn left to go through the streets Vidriera-Corderia-Pes del Formatge-L'Hostal de L'Estel, turning left onto Celler d'en Miró, and then left onto C/Sindicat until C/Bosseria. Turn right at Plaza Major-Sant Miquel until reaching Avda. Compte Sallent/Avda Alemanya/Avda Portugal, then turn left onto Paseig Mallorca until Jaime III. Turn right onto Paseig Mallorca until turning right onto C/Ruben Dario and C/Concepció, then turn right onto C/Montcades and left onto C/Can Serra, exiting onto Jaime III, and turn left onto C/Sant Jaume until Plaza Santa Magdalena. Make a right turn and follow the Ramblas de Palma, then head onto C/Unió to El Born, and continue through Plaça Reina and Antonio Maura, where participants will turn left on the land side to reach the finish line.


START MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON: 8:15h

In its first part, the course runs along the inland side of the Autovía de Levante, towards Andratx, passing through Paseo Sagrera and Paseo Marítimo de Palma (in traffic direction), reaching the Club de Mar roundabout. There, participants will make a 180º turn without affecting the flow of traffic entering and exiting the area, to begin the next section on the seaside of Paseo Marítimo, following traffic direction until a left turn onto Camí de s'Escollera. They will continue until the checkpoint at the Commercial Docks, turning towards the exit of the Escollera. At this point, the Half Marathon and Marathon participants will head to the Autovía de Levante in the direction of the airport, entering C/Joan Maragall and making a right turn onto Passeig de Bartomeu Barceló i Mir. They will make a right turn onto Carrer de la Sirena, Carrer del Marquès de la Romana, a right turn onto Carrer del Vicari Joaquim Fuster, and another right turn onto Carrer Santueri, followed by a left turn onto Carrer Llucmajor. They will then exit back onto Joan Maragall to return on the seaside, making a right turn to go up Avda Gabriel Alomar i Villalonga on the left side, until reaching C/Escola Graduada, where they will turn left onto C/Mateu Enric Lladó until Porta des Camp. From there, they will continue through C/Bastió Princep and Passeig Murada, turning right onto C/Portella and C/Pont i Vic, making a right turn onto C/Sol and a left turn onto C/Sant Francesc, until reaching Plaça Santa Eulalia. There, they will turn onto C/Morell, C/Sant Pere Nolasc, and then right onto C/Palau, and again onto C/Mirador, heading towards Palau Reial until Plaça Cort. Participants will turn right onto C/Cadena to enter Plaça Santa Eulalia, then turn left to follow the streets Vidriera-Corderia-Pes del Formatge-L'Hostal de L'Estel, making a left turn onto Celler d'en Miró, and then another left onto C/Sindicat until C/Bosseria. They will make a right turn at Plaza Major-Sant Miquel, continuing until reaching Avda Compte Sallent/Avda Alemanya/Avda Portugal, where they will turn left onto Paseig Mallorca until Jaime III. After a right turn onto Paseig Mallorca, they will turn right again onto C/Ruben Dario and C/Concepció, then right onto C/Montcades, and left onto C/Can Serra, exiting onto Jaime III. After turning left onto C/Sant Jaume, participants will reach Plaza Santa Magdalena, where they will turn right and follow the Ramblas de Palma, heading onto C/Unió until El Born, and continuing through Plaça Reina and Antonio Maura. Here, Half Marathon participants will turn left to head towards the finish line, while Marathon participants will turn right to begin the second lap of the course.


In the second lap, an additional out-and-back loop will be added on C/ del Vicari Joaquim Fuster up to the intersection with C/Aurora Picornell to adjust the untraveled distance, in compensation for the Half Marathon course.


*Courses may suffer changes before the event due to technical and / or logistical issues. This will be communicated and information updated. 
 

ARTICLE 4. SCHEDULE

The 10km race will start at 8:00 a.m. The maximum time to complete the race is 3 hours.
The marathon and half marathon will start at 8:15 a.m., and the maximum time to complete the race is 6 hours, so the finish line will close at 14:15h.

A cut-off control point is established at Km 32 (Cuesta del Gas). Athletes who have not passed that point at 12:45h will be out of the race.
 
ARTICLE 5. WHEELED AND DEVICES AND ANIMAL ACCOMPANIMENT

The use of any wheel devices in the course (including handbike) is not permitted nor is the accompaniment of animals on the course.
 
 

ARTICLE 6. HOW TO REGISTER

Through the official website www.palmamarathonmallorca.com, at the registration tab.


6.1. WITHDRAW, CHANGES AND ENTRIES TRANSFER 

If the event is cancelled due to force majeure, (war, natural disaster, pandemic, etc.) or that must be suspended by an Administrative Order issued by the Competent Authority in the matter, the Organizer will not be obliged to reimburse the participants the amount of the registration.

In the event that it is necessary to modify courses/schedules the refund and conditions established below will be followed.

 

Once registration has been completed, the following deadlines are being applied:

·       Until June 30th (included): 100% refund*.

·       Until August 31st (included): 50% refund*.

·       Until September 30th (included): transfer of the registration to the following year.

Registrations transferred from previous editions will not be able to request and transfer can be requested just 1 year.

 *The amount to be refunded corresponds to the registration fee. The service fees will not be refunded because this are external charges. 


Distances changes:

 In the event that the new distance price is higher the corresponding difference will be charged.

·        Until June 30th (included): If the price of the new distance is lower, difference will be refunded.

·        From July 1st (included): No difference will be refunded.

If you change from Marathon to other distance the t-shirt will not be included in the change.

The distance changes requested from one month before the event will be requested to the availability of numbers.

Once the registration platform is closed, distance changes cannot be made.

In case you want to change the distance during the bib race number pick up (Friday or Saturday), a fee of €20 in cash must be paid as a management fee when making the change.


6.2. CONSIDERATIONS:

The registration is personal and non-transferable and means the total acceptance of the race regulations including the waiver of civil liability.
Once the entry has been made, it cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances.

 

6.3 DISABLED PARTICIPANTS:

All athletes with disabilities will have a 50% discount on the registration fee. In the case of a blind or visually impaired athlete who requires it, they will have the right to be accompanied by a guide whose registration will be 100% free.

In any case, they must previously contact the organization through: info@palmamarathonmallorca.com and send the certificate of disability that proves their condition.

The following categories are established, which the athlete must previously indicate to the organization:

a.-Physical disability

 a1.- Physical disability with chair

 a2.- Physical disability on foot

b.-Sensory disability

 b1.- Visual Disability

 b2.- Hearing disability

c.-Intellectual disability

 

There will be trophies for the first 3 classifieds in each category (a1,a2,b1,b2,c) and for each distance, as long as there are a minimum of 5 participants in it.

 

 ARTICLE 7. CATEGORIES AND RESULTS

 7.1. CATEGORIES

SENIOR

MASTER CATEGORY: From 35 years old. Special rating: Master categories will be splited every 5 years. Eg: M/F35, (from 35 to 39 years old), M/F40, (from 40 to 44 years old) and so on.

  

 7.2. RESULTS LIST

The following results will be available:
Overall male and female
   *Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km

The results include official time, real time and position within the age category of each participant.
 
 

ARTICLE 8. AWARDS

The best 5th men and women of the overall results for each distance will receive a trophy. They must be collected during the trophy ceremony, they will not be sent after it.
 

 8.1. CLAIMS

All classifications are the responsibility exclusively of the members of the Committee of judges of the FAIB.

Claims relating to results in the classification with provision of award will be presented, in writing together with €50, the referee judge within a maximum of 30 minutes since the publication of the results lists, which will decide. If the referee agrees with the claim the €50 will be returned. Other claims should be sent in writing to: info@zafiropalmamarathon.com, to the attention of the referee; before the Wednesday following the end of the race.
 
 
The Organization shall communicate the decisions of the referee in a maximum period of 10 days, from which the classifications will be considered definitive. Therefore, all the trophies and awards will be provisional until that time.
 
 ARTICLE 9. BIB NUMBERS

Race bibs can only be picked up in the designated area on Friday and Saturday from 11:00h to 19:00h (without interruption).
For collecting the race number, participants will have to present the receipt or copy of registration and ID card, passport or other official document proving their identity.
The race number shall be clearly visible at the front during the entire race and cannot be modified.
 

ARTICLE 10. DISQUALIFICATIONS
Will lead to disqualification:
·       Provide false information on registration (age, residence, etc.)

·       Not completing the full course

·       Not pass through the step controls in the course

·       BIB number not showed correctly or being modified

·       Racing with the BIB number or/and chip from another participant

·       Ignore the instructions of the organizers and/or judges during the course

·       Refuse to do the doping test

·       Unsporting behaviour 

·       Littering

 

ARTICLE 11. AID STATIONS

 1st: km 4 after the turning point in front of Club de Mar: Water, isotonic drink and sponges.*
2nd km 8’5 at Plaza Nuredduna: Water, isotonic drink, fruit.
3rd km 12’3 at Escola Graduada: Water, isotonic drink, fruit.*
4th: km 16’5 at C/Sant Miquel by Porta Pintada/C/Olmos: Water,isotonic drink and special needs.
5th: km 20 In C/Union, in front of Gran Hotel La Caixa: Water, isotonic drink, fruit.
Km at the second loop: 25, 29’5, 33’5, 37’5 and 41.
* At Km 25 and 33´5 there will be also gels available.

Aid stations for 10K Distance: km 5 and km 8’5.

 

ARTICLE 12. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca will have medical services to attend the participants. The organization encourages all participants to do a medical examination prior to the race. All participants accept the risks involved practicing this sport. Furthermore, the athlete declares himself in good physical condition for this race and agrees that this participation is his responsibility. Any participant with health problems is bound to previously notify this in writing to the Organization, marking its race number with a red cross and indicating name, address, telephone and health issue suffered. The participant is required (for safety reasons) to previously inform about his condition in writing together with his race number). Medical services are entitled to remove any participant from the race who appears to be in a bad physical condition.
 

ARTICLE 13. LIABILITY

The Organization declines any responsibility of the effects, consequences or responsibilities arising from any damage, both material and personal, caused by a participant, at the race, themselves or other people. This includes third parties cause damage to a participant, volunteer or staff of the organization.
 
ARTICLE 14. WARDROBE SERVICE

Available from 6:30h until 14:30h during the race day.
The Organization will have a wardrobe service available where participants can deposit their belongings. The Organization is not responsible for items delivered at the wardrobe service. The Organization may ask participants to open their bags before depositing them, to monitor the content of the same. The refusal of a participant to open a bag may lead to the refusal of the organization accepting the bag. For security reasons is mandatory to use the wardrobe bag provided by the Organization.
 
ARTICLE 15. AUTHORIZED VEHICLES

Only the vehicles that are accredited by the Organization can follow the race.
It is strictly forbidden to follow the runners in any type of vehicle engine or on wheels (skates, bicycles, etc...). The Local Police have the order to remove them immediately from the course.
 

ARTICLE 16. ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRESENT REGULATIONS

With their registration to the race all participants accept the present rules and regulations of the race as well as the FAIB, FAA, IAAF and AIMS regulations. In case of doubt, the criterion of the Organization shall prevail.
 
ARTICLE 17: DATA PROTECTION POLICY

In compliance with the provisions of article 5 of the organic law 15/1999, of December 13th, of protection of personal character data, we inform the participants that your personal data will be treated and will be included in files of responsibility of Kumulus Active World 2012 S.L, registered at the Spanish Agency of data protection. The collection and processing of personal data is carried out within the framework of the registration of the participants, and information related to the Palma Marathon Mallorca.
 

Kumulus Active World 2012 S.L commit themselves to compliance with obligations on technical, organizational measures and safety contained in Real Decreto 1720 / 2007, of 21 December, which approves the regulations implementing the organic law 15/1999, of 13 December, of protection of personal data. That the personal data provided, as well as the images taken during the event, will be used for the purpose of the event, as well as the race final classification which will show name, category and nationality. As the race belongs to the official national and international calendar of the Royal Spanish Federation of athletics, is expected following assignments that are expressly authorized: the of the Spanish Federation of Athletics data for their own purposes; and the use of imagery in the development of the event so that they are used in any type of format or medium (paper, web, communications, video, etc.) in accordance with the purposes for the present explicitly consented. As registering to the race, every participant declares to consent that his personal data will be treated for the before mentioned purposes. In any case, participants can exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition by writing to: KUMULUS ACTIVE WORLD 2012 S.L. with address Pou de Sini 24-3, 07350 Binissalem, Balearic Islands, Spain.

 

Appendix - Sportograf Privacy Policy for Events

At our event, Sportograf GmbH & Co KG (web: www.sportograf.com) will be our media partner and exclusive photo service provider.

If you participate in an event at which Sportograf (hereinafter referred to as "we") has been commissioned as an exclusive photographic service by the Organiser, we may collect photographic and video material on which you can be identified personally, possibly with your event participant number (e.g. start number).

We use the data collected at the sport events to fulfil our obligation as a photo service provider under the underlying contract with the Organiser and in our own economic interest to sell the photos of the event to the interested participants via our website www.sportograf.com . Through many years of experience in the field of event photography, we can ensure that participants of sports events will be informed transparently that Sportograf will be used as an exclusive photo service provider.

Furthermore, every participant of such an event must expect that the organiser or his cooperation partners will sell photos of such events as souvenirs. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties. We only use photographers who we have obligated to comply with data protection laws in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

The legal justification for the data processing is our aforementioned legitimate interests according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. You have the right to object to this processing.
